More Snow

They say we will be getting a pretty big snow storm here in the prairie regions of Illinois...
Maybe 20 inches of snow with 40~50 mph winds. The news is treating it like the second coming, and with all the hype you have to take it seriously I suppose, cause the first time you dont is the time you will find yourself stranded about a mile from even a farm house out on the wind swept fields...the fields I must drive across daily to get to work.

Combine that with a good case of Noro virus spreading through out the residents of oue county and you can imagine we could all be in for a bit of a rough ride...meanwhile, I plan to get busy on my next "Doin' it Yourself" article for Muzzleloader magazine, its about making sheaths for belt and bag axes and tomahawks. I have quite a few good ones to include in the article, including a tomahawk made by Judd Brennan, and a beautiful little bag ax made by Bart Dellinger. Wish me luck.

Im posting a "Pre-blizzard" image of the snake fence out front. If we get all the snowing and blowing they say is coming, I plan to post an "After" picture as well...heres a link to the image...
